@shaneLer in the waitlist FAQ it said the financial aid office would send you an email about two days after you’re offered admission. When did you get in? Congrats, btw!
@shaneLer I got off the waitlist as well and I don’t have a PAL either! You may be missing the UCLA Verification form like me. Since we weren’t initially accepted, we weren’t sent the email telling us to submit it.
Thanks guys! I got in around 5 this morning. Problem is, one of my requirements is that I get no Cs this spring semester in any major course. I did though, in third semester physics. I contacted them immediately and am awaiting a response. I will call them today too.
I’ve already SIR’d to UCI, so if I get rescinded I’m still welcome there. Just knowing UCLA accepted me is pretty unreal.
An email got sent out by UC. Waitlists are still being calculated through part of the summer. It did not single out campuses.
@lindyk8 for both freshmen and transfers or did it specify?
Didn’t specify, but I would assume it would include transfers, for sure.
Thats weird… I didnt get an email :-SS
@shaneler I got a C in biochemistry, and I said that in my additional info, and they still offered me admission, so I’m pretty sure you’re fine. Biochem IS an upperdiv course though, so iono
What’s driving me nuts about this whole process is they may not even have space in my major. I want to call and ask but I’m afraid I’ll get another generic answer like “we review our transfer class and send out rolling decisions” etc.
i am a ucsb student. I was wondering should i send an official transcript to the UCLA admission office after the Spring quarter done.
@tindd15 yes
My gpa is currently 3.74 and I wrote a personal statement as good as I can after being waitlisted. UCLA is my dream school. I am so worried I will be denied. What should I do right now? just waiting?
Wait do we have to send a transcript?
@tindd15 Oh, I see. yeah, you’re on the waitlist. I forgot what thread I was in. Don’t send the transcript.
I guess you just have to wait. Maybe you could send an email to admissions, reiterating how much you love the campus and are still holding out. List your major. That probably won’t do any good, but you never know. It won’t hurt. At least it’s showing perseverance and dedication to getting in. But just make it 1-2 sentences max.
@tindd15 what’s your major?
OMG I just logged into MyUCLA and it said “Congratulations on your admission to UCLA!”
I haven’t received an email or anything yet and my admissions log in isn’t updated yet. HOLY CRAP
YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
@luckie1367 THANK YOUUUUU I AM IN COMPLETE AND UTTER SHOCK
