@Yifst Congrats!! But if I were you, I would pick UCSD. UCSD’s economics is pretty good actually and they offer you the best financial aid choice! I don’t even need to think about it.

How long after acceptance do waitlisted students have to SIR?
@SMCSociology it gave me 3 days to accept the offer
got accepted off the waitlist around 6am on saturday and cried for ages!! biz econ, 3.7 (but higher major gpa, pretty strong essays and EC’s, wrote maybe 3-4 paragraphs for the waitlist statement).
i’d actually thought i’d be accepted for asian studies if anything–long story but i wanted to switch. i really love ucsd and was so set on it, but i’m beyond happy because i didn’t think i had a shot at ucla at this point

Wow, didn’t expect to hear about an admissions off the waitlist this late into June. Congratulations! 
Anyone majoring in engineering of any type hear anything? I already SIRd elsewhere, but the aid offer is not that great so I’m still open to the idea of going elsewhere.

Physics major here. Yeah cant agree more. They should’ve figured how many free spots left already since everyone SIR’ed by 6/1. But they never tell us and know that most of the waitlisted would take the gamble.
All the information goes one way to UCLA, and all we can find out is only from this website. This is so unfair

I SIR’ed to UCSB too! As far as I know, It’s a better college for physics than UCLA. But I just don’t want to move out
