<p>no it's not university related...the housing offer I got was horrible. I wonder how many people like us are there? I know atleast 5-6 other who are unhappy with their housing offer and are choosing to live off-campus....Im gonna miss the fine dorm food though</p>

<p>those of you staying off-campus, how far are you from UCLA? Walking distance? Or commute.</p>

<p>yea im on landfair so only two blocks 3-4 min. walking distance I heard</p>

<p>i am going to live in the valley, so i should reach school within two hours definatley.</p>

<p>i heard that my particular apartment building is like a 20-30 minute walk from the university. This is good, because i need the exercise.</p>

<p>20-30 min. walking is actually a lot...and I heard that it's a hilly area....if it's uphill you're screwed</p>
