i am a male looking for someone to get a room together with. anyone?

yes...i might be screwed but i'll be buff as hell..and i'll have the last laughs..bwahah

i got my housing request back...turns out they're not changing any offers this summer. its alright though, because i found a pretty sweet place off campus, by wilshire's shuttle stop. its unfurnished though, which is the only drawback.

WHat kind of place is it, how did you find it, how much is it? can i have it?

For those living off campus, Barry Ave between Wilshire and Ohio is a great location for UCLA students (I lived there 2 years). My UCLA roommate and I split a 1 bedroom for $475/month each.

malishka, a friend of mine who actually graduated last year asked around for me and found it. here's the craiglist's ad:

$525 - Looking for laid-back roommate
Date: 2006-06-13, 5:27PM PDT

Hi there, we're looking for a fourth roommate to share a large 2 bed, 2 bath apartment just one block of Wilshire for the 2006-2007 school year, beginning in September.

There are currently three of us (one guy, two girls), and we are ideally looking for another guy to share a bedroom. All three of us are extremely laid back and very easy to get along with. The apartment has all wood floors, a nice kitchen and living room, and a huge patio. There is a pool and spa on the top of the complex with an amazing view of los angeles. Rent is $525/month plus utilities (gas, electric, cable, dsl internet), which won't be much split four ways. Your rent ALSO includes one garaged parking space! The rent is cheap considering the quality of the apartment.

The apartment is just one block south of Wilshire on Ashton Avenue, so we're close to all the shops, restaurants, and theaters (the amc is a block away) in westwood. The UCLA campus shuttle, which stops right near our apartment, takes you right to campus faster than you can walk from the dorms or apartments on midvale/landfair/veteran. We're also near stops for all the other bus systems.

We're looking for someone laid back and responsible. We have no pets and don't smoke, so we expect the same. Please let us know if you're interested! We look forward to talking with you. Thanks!

its actually not that cheap, but i figured the location is pretty good. and no, you cannot have it :) but i highly recommend craiglist.

Yourplace sounds nice and all but... i want my own room or a studio/ 1 bedroom, so i am going to th evalley probably.

I mean i might not go at all, i dont know yet, i might have to ask for defferment to winter/spring.

wow malishka that sucks...does UCLA actually allow you to defer?
