Yo, I haven't done my housing application yet because i dont quite understand the conditions for transfer students.

Do we have a designated housing facility JUST FOR TRANSFERS, or do we have an option to apply to other places?

For on-campus housing, there really isn't a facility set aside for transfer. The housing office does typically set aside a number of rooms for transfer students in various buildings (none really specific.) In any case, where ever you end up, you will be with students that are continuing and/or first years (not necessarily rooming with them though.)

However, the University apartments are typically for upper division students or transfers -- meaning you'll be in closer proximity to transfers in university apts vs. on-campus housing but, you won't have the same type of community. It'll be less easier to meet lots of people in the apts whereas you'll have roughly 60 new friends/acquaintences in the dorms.

You are definitely not limited to these options. If you have a friend or two that are going here or nearby, you can always find an apartment in Westwood. Many are not too far from campus.
