UCLA TSP Students!

Hey I got the psychology class too!!
Im so excited
I spoke to one the TSP people a while back and he told me we were going to be very busy, so I’m kinda nervous. He said it wasn’t hard though just a lot of work.

I’m planing to take just the basics, things i use every day.
I don’t live that far so i can always go back and get anything else i need.

Is there anywhere you guys know i can get pretty inexpensive covers?

not a problem. it was actually Tiffany who is telling me everything, so you should thank her. she is very busy in the motherland~

from what Tiffany has told me, it is a pretty full day, I am very sure we will start early on each day.

I’m already studying for Psychology! (isn’t that crazyyyyy?!) Tiffany has very nicely typed up her friends notes from last summer and sent me a copy by email!

yay for lots of tsp students in psychology! Maybe that is why I got that email…

Thank you for continuing to respond! I am going to bed bath and beyond tomorrow!

I’m so excited! I’m moving back up to LA on the 24th, and then in on campus a few days later! :)

I think I am becoming more nervous than excited! I was excited before but now that it is so close now…ahhh…nerves are attacking!!!

@Juliet-will you please email me a copy? Is it for the Comm Psych class or the Psych class we are taking in the fall? I could PM you my email address… I tried to PM you but maybe you aren’t accepting PM’s?

Juliet- are you Psych major?

has anyone seen the syllabus for any of the TSP classes? Will you please PM me if you have… I’d like to see what we are in for! :-)

Oh sorry! for some reason I cannot accept them! >_<;;;;;

the notes are for summer. she has told me that she has them for psych 100A&B but those are back here in her home in California~

i would love to email you the notes but they are in Korean…she had her friends notebook and instead of scanning the pages like she said she would, she typed them out for me in Korean which is a big help believe me! sorry I cannot be of much assistance!

Yes I am also a Psychology major ^_^

do you know what books are required for our classes?

if I am not mistaken, we will be informed late this week/early next week!

Oh~

I have just texted Tiffany, she says to catch her on the forums whenever she is online and she will PM those notes to you!

She is going from place to place but hopefully you will be able to see her online sometime!
hope that helps a bit~

Thank you so much Juliet! That would really help me out… Can’t wait to meet you guys!

How many units are given for community Psychology? Also, does it count for one of the twelve classes that’s required for the Psychology major? Specifically meaning as in one of the four psychology electives.

4 units & yes

Hey guys—

I’m new to this site & stumbled across this thread. I was just wondering when/ if everyone got their info on where they’re scheduled to live and all that other stuff. I recently moved so a lot of my mail is missing. All I know is I signed up for the English Lit class instead of the psych one-- sounds like most ppl are doing that :frowning: Anywho I’m excited to start, it’s coming up soon! Also did anyone notice that the classes scheduled on the AAP site are not in the ucla class schedule for summer 2010… I wonder if the classes are exculsively for us??

Yes the classes are exclusively for us. We are living in Rieber Vista I think… The plazas… We received the packet in the mail about a week ago but the paperwork wasn’t too detailed so you didn’t miss much… good luck.

ATTN: All of us. Our summer EFAN accounts are updated! Wee! Remember, you don’t need that ~$800 loan!

Ty! I got that email two days ago but thought it was another sending of the official school year!~

I found this while on aap site: (page 6 in particular)

we got really lucky~

Almost there! Nerves nerves! >_<;~

Hi everyone!~

Hope you are all doing well! I am sorry for posting twice in a row! >_<~~~!!

I have a question and I hope someone may answer it! My parents want me to take a mini-fridge because I do need a lot of things (now that I think about it)! Is anyone else taking one? I would feel weird if I would be the only one! >_<~~

Thank you! Are you counting the days?! >_<;;;~~

Hi Juliet! I’m thinking about bringing one for beverages etc. We can only go into the dining hall for our 3 meals or ?

Does anyone know if we are allowed to go into the dining hall to get a cup of hot water (for tea, etc.)?
