Hello,
I am a fairly competitive student in terms of academics and grades( I also started my schools Racial Conversations Program, a school-wide discussion about race) However, I was never going to apply to UCLA or UC Berkeley because my test scores are not good enough. Both aunts on my mothers side attended UCLA -undergrad and grad degrees-, and my uncle and aunt on my dads side attended UC Berkeley- undergrad and grad-(one of them donates annually to Berkeley). Neither of my parents attended, however I am wondering if having family members attend both schools would help me.
UC’s do not consider Legacy in their admission decisions. No help sorry.
