I think you’re in good shape, be sure to update your app early when the time comes (reflecting what grades you’ve received for Fall). Based on the information you see to hit the mark of being competitive applicant. However if you need more assurance…

Philosophy Major, UCLA
Fall 2013 - 59.17% admit rate and avg. gpa is 3.56
Fall 2012 - 59.17% admit rate and avg. gpa is 3.56 <–seems like an error…
Fall 2011 - 56.06% admit rate and avg. gpa is 3.60
Fall 2010 - 67.99% admit rate and avg. gpa is 3.49
Fall 2009 - 67.99% admit rate and avg. gpa is 3.49

Although getting admitted to Philosophy in UCLA appears to be becoming a bit difficult, since your’e gpa is higher than admitted averages and unusually high acceptance rate for this major your in good shape. Further, if you were to assume that admitted gpa is uniform then the range for the gpa is 3.22-4.0 (which is highly unlikely). From those assumption out of all the candidates you’re sitting at the top ~35% of applicants and considering the admit percentage is ~60% I think you’ll be alright. All in all I think you’ll have a decent shot. Then again this is just guess work, and can’t really know for sure.

I hope you didn’t write your personal statement like a philosophy paper, and best of luck.

** edit ** woops I put in the wrong info for avg admitted gpa, I’m not sure what happened. However, it seem you’re gpa is still above avg admitted gpa.

For what it’s worth, I knew a few people who transferred to UCLA last year while still a pre-req in the spring semester, their last semester at a CC. I was taking the class with them and they told me they got accepted. A couple of them were taking two of their last pre-reqs in that semester.

Then again, they were TAP program students. But since philosophy is fairly easy to transfer to(About 60% get in), I think you’ll be fine.
