Hi! These are my top schools right now and I'm wondering if you guys could compare them, whats good/bad about them, etc. Or just give your opinions on one of the schools. Anything helps! Thanks!

It will depend on your preferences, including intended or possible majors.

Also, have you checked the net price calculators at each school to see if they are affordable to you?

@ucbalumnus I actually just posted another thread on my debate between business and engineering… It’s hard to base where I want to go on the major if I don’t know what I want to major in.
And I’m hoping to get merit aid at chapman and CMC, but money isn’t a big factor for me.

Based on your majors:

UCLA: has various engineering, no business (but has business economics)
UCSD: has various engineering, no business (but has management science option to economics)
Chapman: has business, no engineering (religious affiliation with Christian Church (Disciples of Christ))
Claremont McKenna: has neither business nor engineering (but economics has a pre-professional emphasis and accounting courses)

At CMC, there is the option of Econ-Engineering though, and as @ucbalumnus pointed out, CMC Econ has a pre-professinoal emphasis, so you could get a business with engineering sort of course. Else, you also have the choice at cross-registering at Harvey Mudd, which I believe has really good engineering courses.

What are your stats?
