Ucla undergrad admission help

Hi,

A few of my grades recently changed last week and I e-mailled UCLA to ask how to report them. Instead, the next day I learned that I had been rejected.

I am a straight A student, but received 2 C's last year (1st and 2nd semester of math). My grades recently changed to B's, so my unweighted GPA for 10th and 11th went from 3.83 to 3.92 and my weighted GPA went from 4.17 to 4.27. This grade change was done so late in the year because my math teacher left our school due to serious health issues. Therefore, it took a while to figure out how to get my grades changed.

Other than that, I was junior class president and am senior class president. I've been part of 3 varsity sports, and have played these three sports all 4 years.

What are my chances for getting into UCLA? Do I have to go through the appeal process or can I explain the situation and somehow be reconsidered without waiting for appeals?

I think you should wait and appeal, because they ask for new information (which this definitely is). But try emailing them and asking if appealing is the fastest way to solve your issue. good luck!
