My gpa for junior year is a 2.4…i know it was really bad, but i want to major in acting and movie directing. I have a huge portfolio, and idk what to do. please 
Eeek, those film schools are incredibly selective and are looking for people with very high stats and a great portfolio. NYU is a little more lenient with GPA than the others but they wouldn’t accept a 2.4. You need at absolute minimum a 3.3. Preferably a 3.6. And for UCLA USC, min 3.6, preferably 3.8.
UCs need atleast a 3.0 GPA to even look at your application (as a general requirement). And with a 2 to 4% admision rate it is even more different to get into USC/UCLA in those fields than into Ivy League!
