What did you gain from leaving early, other then giving the *******s in the endzones something to jeer about?

Andrizzle you are a loser and bandwagon fan. I’m ashamed to know that there are students like you who call themselves Bruins. We didn’t lose the game until midway in the 4th quarter as were down by 1 touchdown for most of the game.

More importantly, it is pathetic that you left because:

1) This was the seniors’ last game. Show some respect to your fellow classmates. Many of those guys will not play in the NFL and this will be their last game as a football player. Mind you, the guys on the team are the same age at us. They aren’t some 40 year old washed up Brett Favre. They’re kids.

2) You’re going to let the Trojans own our house? Really? By leaving early, you gave our rivals the satisfaction of knowing our fanbase is nothing more than a bunch of losers who have no passion for sports. It’s “fans” like you that embarrass our university. Do yourself a favor and never go to an athletic game again. The school doesn’t need your money and it certainly doesn’t need pathetic bandwagon fans like you.

Pathetic excuse for a UCLA student and fan. When you graduate, leave and never come back. Don’t ever step back onto Westwood. Get your degree, pay your tuition, and ■■■■.

i love how you made ALL those assumptions about me as a person and as a student based on one sentence i wrote

first of all, i’m not an avid sports fan to begin with which is why i don’t even own a den pass. i’ve only been to two games, the stanford game (in which our loss was a lot worse than the $c game, and i stayed for the entire duration) and then the $c game itself. i went to the stanford game only because my friend couldn’t go that day and lent me his bruin card for admission and for the $c game, in which my friend’s pledgebro couldn’t go at the last minute and gave me his ticket about 5 hours before the tip off.

second, i DID leave mid way into the 4th quarter at around the 5:20 mark which is actually past the midway point. i stayed even after all those fumbles and when it was painfully clear we wouldn’t be able to win, but i was fine with that because that was not the reason i left

the reason i left (not that it’s any of your business) was because i got 7 missed calls from one of my friends within the past 10 minutes, naturally i assumed it was important so i went into the tunnel to call her (WITH the intention of going back to finish watching it). she informed me that the person who drove me here was throwing up due to over-tailgating (he was about to pass out in the car) and i was the only person he came with (she couldn’t drive his car for him because she came with her sorority among other reasons). my friend usually doesn’t binge drink, but he was stressed out due to finals and the $c game was a nice break from studying. he threw up twice on the way back to campus, it would have been worse if i hadn’t left early since i wold have returned to the site of him having thrown up on himself, and i would have been stuck in traffic trying to get out of the rose bowl parking lot.

so let me ask you this, what’s more important, some sports game or the well being of your friend?

it’s d-bag, pretentious, hard core sports fans who jump to conclusions and only see in black and white such as yourself (although to your credit i was a bit vague and conveyed a sarcastic tone in my first post), and more disappointingly, condemn even their fellow bruins that tik me off. in my opinion, YOU are the type of student who doesn’t belong at UCLA (since it’s not my place to condemn you). oh and i don’t pay for my tution, UCLA takes care of that for me + mailing me a 3k check a quarter.

but hey, ■■■■■ some more, PLEASE.

Wow, I totally should have assumed you left to drive home a drunk friend. That clearly would’ve been the most natural conclusion to draw from your post.

Andrizzle, sorry to hear that about your friend, but it’s also clear that you deserved scrutiny due to the ambiguity in your first post. Looking at your original post, does the connotation of “Glad I left early” indicate any intention that you were glad you left early because you needed to help a friend? No. As a matter of fact, one can appropriately contextualize that you suggested you were glad to leave the game early because UCLA was simply losing the football game to USC.

It’s also clear that you completely change tone in your second post. Your original post is worthy of scorn because you intentionally come off as an insensitive jerk who thinks he sounds cool with a brief, sarcastic remark. I’m glad I left early? I’m sorry, what was I suppose to assume? On your second post you completely change your tone and now demand sympathy. Hey kudos, you deserve a damn Humanitarian Award you know that?

Sorry “bro,” but you knew a response (2 responses actually, from me and ThisCouldBeHeavn) like that was coming and you sure as hell deserved it. Look again at your original post. Had you wanted anybody to think otherwise of what really happened, you would have have chosen a better choice of words.

^ the entirety of that post is based solely on the fact that my first post was very ambiguous and did hint at sarcasm, but i already mentioned that in in my second post when i said “but to your credit…” no need to bring it up again

but you’re right, i did deserve scrutiny due to the ambiguity of said post and the general conclusion one can make as a result, but it’s one thing to scrutinize and another to completely condemn and denounce my tenure here as a student based solely on the fact that i’m not as passionate as you in regards to our sports program?

yeah i’m demanding sympathy from a person i’m probably never going to meet because the internet is serious business, you know. an humanitarian award isn’t necessary, an e-cookie will suffice. and i’m not your “bro”
