<p>where should i go?!?!?! My appeals went through for LA, but i'm still waiting on Chicago's waitlist. IF i get into UofC, what should I do? The 'rents don't like chicago at all just b/c of name recognition, while i'm totally in love with it.</p>

<p>If you want a sunshine-y, LETS GO TEAM GO!, well-rounded experience, go to UCLA. </p>
<p>If you want cold, eclectic weather, quirky/weird and passionate students, and academia 24/7 go to UoC. This place is INTENSE.</p>
<p>Also, UCLA is in a way better neighborhood. Yeah, it's true that UoC has improved a lot in the last few years... at least in Westwood, you don't really need to be paranoid or worry nearly as much as you might in Hyde Park.</p>

<p>both schools are very good. iuoc is ranked number 9 and ucla is ranked 25</p>
