Who do you guys think will win?

oklahoma isnt nearly as good as they were last year

if we find a way to contain peterson... they have no chance

Wow... Had you asked me this same question two weeks ago, the obvious answer is Oklahoma. However looking at how Oklahoma lost against TCU, and then struggled against Tulsa (which has one of the worst football teams in the country this year), with the combenation of how good UCLA has looked, I think it'll be a close game. If Oklahoma plays like they have in the first two games, then I think the victory is going to UCLA. If Oklahoma has things together however I'd still have to pick them as favorites.

Right now UCLA is favored by 6 and 1/2 points.

ya, you guys can have our scraps from last season. i still dont think theyre over the orange bowl. pathetic.

yay!

UCLA 41-24 OKLAHOMA
yeayuh! http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/football/ncaa/recaps/2005/09/17/32764_recap.html

UCLA won :)

I'm curious where UCLA will be in rankings now! I'd be beyond shocked if this did not get us into the top 25.

hehe i think the oklahoma is having a slow start.

theyll be at least 21

I was at the game, got sunburned and loved every minute of it.

watching games like football is one of those shared events that helps tie a large school like ucla together. If you're a frosh definitely go with your dorm floor!

Also keep in mind there's lots of other sports at ucla other than football and basketball. ucla fields teams that are nationally ranked in lots of sports from water polo thru volleyball, baseball, gymnastics, you name it. It can be a lot of fun to get a few friends together and go watch some people who are among the best in the entire country in their sport compete for your school.

The new rankings are out. UCLA is ranked 25th in the AP poll, and 23rd in the USA Today polls. Personally I think we should have been a bit higher, but at least we're nationally ranked!

BTW: Did anybody else watch the game on ABC? Was it just me or were the announcers really pulling for an Oklahoma victory? I think it as they went into halftime one of them said the line "Oklahoma is on route for their 4th consecutive victory against these Bruins," or something to that effect. The interesting thing was that UCLA was leading by 3 at that point!

nah i didnt notice that. But they didnt give ucla enough credit. like to drew olson and the bruin D. They talked to much of oklahomas rookie quaterback . STILL UCLA is 3-0, has washinton next who are predicted to be last in pac-10 but they got ty willingham. THEN CAL!!! LETS BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF CAL! hopefully there running back is oout but at least we have them at HOMMMMME. 5-0 baby here we come~!!

Washington should be an easy win for UCLA. Cal is going to be the next really big test of the season. Cal has some serious problems however at QB this year with the loss of Longshore. I think that is going to be an interesting game, that really could go to either side.

did any of you guys see the UCLA commercial for this game?

I always thought the "Here. Now. UCLA." in the end was silent, but it seems like they added the voice of students cheering "here! now! ucla!" to the background on this game's commercial.

lol is there a way to see the UCLA vs oklahoma game again? didnt broadcast the game here in the bay area..
