I've been accepted into UCLA for Physiological Science and Berkeley for MCB. I'm considering changing my major to Nutritional Sciences with a focus on Physiology and Metabolism if I go to Berkeley. I want to go to med school after and am thus concerned about maintaining a high GPA. Which path would be the better one to take?

For UCLA students/alumni, how rigorous is phy sci? I've heard that it is pretty tough but that it would be good prep for med school. Do/did you like UCLA in general?

For Berk students/alumni, how rigorous is nutritional sciences? I've heard that it is not as difficult as mcb because the classes are not nearly as big. And how do/did you like Cal in general?

Please offer any input that you have regarding physci at UCLA and mcb/cdb/nutritional sciences at Cal!

Thank you so much :)
