UCLA vs. Cornell Bio Engineering

How do these school compare in Bio Engineering (undergrad)?

Thanks!

I got into columbia ucla cornell sd, my year and i ended up choosing UCLA, although I would've gone to columbia if things allowed that to happen. I'm sure the bioengineering aspects of the schools are similar (although cornell has that ivy league bias where people say it isn't as good as cal and such). I think what it should really boil down to for you is where you want to be for school, and what kind of culture you want to be in.

Sun or snow?
Camping out for basketball or hockey?
An hour away from Rochester, NY or smack dab in the hills of Bel-air?
College-town or urban beat?

Cornell has done a lot of ocular (eye-junk) work with bioengineering, not sure what UCLA has done ( I know a lot of profs are tissue engineering specialists)

I am in the same exact situation as you. I got into Cornell Bioengineering as a guaranteed transfer for 2008. I am going to attend UCLA for freshman year. Right now, i'm leaning towards staying at UCLA for my whole undergrad.
