<p>I got into UCLA w/o regents/scholarship and I also get into Johns Hopkins w/o scholarship. </p>
<p>I have a semi-difficult decision on which college to choose.</p>
<p>Adv. of UCLA: close to home, cheaper, more fun than JHU which is supposedly a really nerdy school,..</p>
<p>Adv. of JHU: good academics, good in my majors, prestigious</p>

<p>i had pretty much decided on JHU until 2 days before we had to make a final decision. i was leaning towards JHU because i got into BME and was thinking about pre-med. however, i finally decided that i didn't want to do pre-med and thus thought it wasn't worth it to go so far and pay so much if i were to do a different major. ucla in my opinion is already pretty good academically.
i had visited both schools, and one thing that really stood out to me about ucla was the school spirit. </p>

<p>hands down UCLA. Don't even think about going to JHU without visiting.....its crap. Its more for postgrad.</p>
<p>if you are premed, go to UCLA. JHU will pwn you for any bio-related major. UCLA isn't too hard (if you study).</p>
<p>A lot depends on what you want to study. I love UCLA. I would take UCLA over JHU.</p>
<p>my good friend goes to JHU. He says he choose it over UCLA just because of the prestige. Other than that, he hates the weather, its boring, and oh yeah, its boring. Heard girls over there aren't great either...uhhh yeah, very important. So just go to UCLA. (i got waitlisted at JHU)</p>
