Hello everyone!
I also posted this thread in the NYU forum. I was admitted to both NYU and UCLA, both on a full ride for undergraduate of Fall 2019. NYU also admitted me into their Presidential Honors Program. I am interested in majoring in Economics, possibly double majoring in Computer Science as well. In the future I would like to attend law or business school.
I am pretty much torn between these two choices. I know UCLA is ranked higher overall, but NYU has a higher ranking in Economics. I haven’t had the chance to visit either campus (though NYU doesn’t really have one…?), but my parents are leaning towards UCLA since it’s a close-by location, and they’re also concerned financially because NYU requires a 3.65 GPA for me to keep my financial aid- and they think that if I mess up one of my classes, I could easily lose all of my financial aid.
Could someone shed some light on this? Thanks!
