UCLA vs UCB Mechanical engineering

I recently was admitted into both UC Berkeley and UCLA’s colleges of engineering as a Mechanical Engineering major and am stuck and a crossroads on which college to pick.

In terms of curriculum content, you may want to compare the sample 4-year schedules for the major at each and see what upper division in-major electives are available at each school.

You may also want to consider whether you like the semester system (two 15-week semesters, as used at UCB) or the quarter system (three 10-week quarters, as used at UCLA) better. Under the quarter system, you would take more “smaller” courses (most courses at UCB and UCLA are 4 units, though there is some variation, but 4 quarter units is 2/3 of 4 semester units).
