<p>I just got accepted into UCLA and UCI this Fall quarter as a transfer student, both for Chemistry major. I aim to attend grad school/medical school in the future. I am hesitate with my decision since both of them are great school with many opportunities. I visited both schools but 1 day is not enough to know about the school. </p>
<p>I am leaning towards UCLA since I want to have different college experiences. However, a lot of people told me that UCLA is extremely competitive, rigorous course (although I believe UCI is not a laid back school). It would destroy my GPA and also my dream to go to med school. I am NOT smart, just hard-working (100% sure on that) so I am afraid to compete with top, smart students at UCLA. </p>
<p>Is it better for me to go to a more relaxing school to maintain my GPA for medical school or should I try prestigious school and strive super hard to have decent GPA? </p>
