UCLA vs. UCSD -- Aerospace Engineering (Junior Level Transfer)

For the last 2 weeks, I have had an internal battle regarding which school to attend. While at my CC, my goal was UCLA; however, I had never seen nor researched UCSD.

After visiting UCLA a couple times, I reasoned that I could see myself attending college there and that I would have a decent time. However, I never had a, "Holy ****, I would love to go here!" moment.

Two days ago, I had the chance to briefly, from about 7PM to 9PM, visit UCSD. I was only able to see the engineering buildings and Price Center, but I fell in love with the buildings and area immediately.

My concerns are as follows:

UCLA is more well known, does this matter?

Will my decision significantly affect job prospects?

I've heard rumors that UCSD is quite boring, true? (Watching collegiate sports really isn't a big deal for me.)

UCLA is giving me a $5,000 scholarship and I am eligible to apply for a special scholarships of $10,000; should I pass that up?

The Rec Center at UCLA is better, but UCSD offers "Outdoor adventures" (I plan on taking lots of noncredit classes, i.e. jui jitsu, archery, etc, and using the rec center a lot)

My girlfriend is going to UCLA, and I would like to stay with her.

Currently, here is my breakdown:

Engineering Program: UCLA = UCSD
Prestige: UCLA >> UCSD
Campus: UCLA << UCSD
Affordability: UCLA > UCSD (UCLA is giving me a $5,000 scholarship)
Social Aspect: UCLA ?? UCSD (UCLA has the college social atmosphere and D1 sports, but UCSD is ON the beach and has super cool “Outdoor Adventure” programs)
Job Resources: UCLA ?? UCSD (Both have a fairly good alumni network, but Im not entirely sure which would be better in the long run)
On-Campus Resources: UCLA ?? UCSD (UCLA has more money than UCSD, so shouldn’t they be able to provide better resources?)
