UCLA vs UCSD

I cant decide!! I am a transfer student. Yes I have until June 1st to decide, but I've been researching both for a month in case in go into UCLA and I still haven't made up my mind a little bit.

My major is Political Science. I do want a good social life, but not a crazy one. So the fact that UCSD has no football team, thus not much school spirit is a downfall, however the strength of the polysci program is very very important to me.

Which do you think is better for a polysci major? Which do you think is a better overall school (academics, social life, surrounding area, etc)?

Thank you!

UCLA is top 10 in Poli Sci although so is UCSD - [NRC Rankings in Political Science](NRC Rankings in Political Science)

La Jolla - beautiful beach but can be kind of restrictive because of the folks that live in the area - UCLA is near Bel Air but the students kinda own Westwood as their own space - you don’t really get that sense of space at UCSD in the same way.

I would opt for UCLA it is the better all around choice esp if you change your major which most students do.
