UCLA vs. USC

there are different aspects about ucla and usc that one can argue are better, but that fact that one is public and one is private doesn't really make a difference....except usc is like $15,000 more! ucla and berkley rank higher than a lot of private schools, including some colleges at usc. one thing that's always shaky is arguing wheather usc or ucla film is better. i'd lean more towards usc, althought i hear the industry likes to see up and coming film writers/directors/whatever make their own name without their school mascot hanging on their backs. theres also plenty of bruins in the film industry. haha, my favorite bruin is dan castlenetta(the voice of homer simpson). usc business is also great. ucla has more of an edge on bio-chem, pysch, economics, and dentistry. id also like to think ucla is social and bruins take care of bruins. they have school pride too you know. yes, usc has the best football team, but that doesnt neccessarily mean better sports teams. usc is horrible in basketball. usc is just lucky that they are the best in what happens to be the most popular sport.

in the end. both great schools with great students. the rivalry just gets ridiculously out of hand sometimes. i dont want to go to either but if i had to pick...i'd pick usc :-).

Do you really want me to start cramming this thread full of rankings comparing UCLA and USC? Don't push me over the edge - I swear I'll do it!

Do It! Do It!

haha yeah go for it flopsy - i think ptmagnolia needs to be taught a lesson :)

psh "some" colleges at U$C? Try all. (save, perhaps...maybe.... slightly.....graduate business)

...oh i just can't resist hehe

But, you will get more specialized attention at USC. USC is also much more social.

The first sentence might be true in some respects, but as has been noted before, UCLA is for motivated students who will seek out that attention - just as much is available here, but you have to be willing to go get it.
Second, I think you might have missed my earlier post when I mused about why all the SC students are in Westwood every weekend.... ;)
