Which is better? I am an international student and am torn between these two schools. I have been to both and they are both beautiful, but I just don’t like the city of LA. Compared to Seattle, LA is lousy due to the size and never-ending highways. The campus is beautiful, though but this applies to UW as well. So which should I choose, as an international student and as a student accepted to the major of Biochemistry for both universities?

@nutka007 If I were you I would probably choose UW Seattle. LA is not a safe city, Seattle is a much safer and more beautiful city. Plus the fact that UW medical school is ranked highly in the national and I think it stands out better than UCLA since your major is related to medicine. Moreover UCLA is close to LA, it is more of a party school.Living in LA is more costly than in Seattle. And UW is located in a more tranquil city, it has much pretty weather I think since I prefer cooler weather, just have to bear a more cloudiness sometime. Overall, I think UW is definitely a choice to pursue your studies than UCLA!
