<p>I was accepted by UCLA pre-econ in march, and I sent my deposit. The thing is I just got off from waitlist from Washington University in St.Louis, and I don't know which one to choose. Could anybody help me please?</p>
<p>Hi, I attended a summer program at WUSTL last year and I also spent a few days on campus at UCLA (which I will be attending in the fall). WUSTL and UCLA are vastly different schools. With WashU I felt that there was more handholding because it was private. The student body is much smaller which helps you feel like less of a number. UCLA, however, blows it out of the water in terms of social life, location and sports. WUSTL seemed like a more competitive school academically though.</p>

<p>Go to the one that will provide better prospects after you graduate. Also, flip a coin. And if you wish for even a split second the opposite one, go there.

<p>While WUSTL had an amazing campus, it was nowhere near as amazing as the UCLA campus. UCLA must have one of the most beautiful campuses of any US college.</p>
