When i applied i couldn’t pick undeclared for some reason… maybe i just looked over it and couldn’t find it
I was just lowkey lurking on the 2014 waitlist thread and found 2 mechanical engineers who got in and a friend of a poster who got in for CS so hopefully last year was just unlucky!
And on the Berkeley waitlist thread for this year, UCB seems to be pulling engineers so maybe that’ll open up some spots at UCLA!

Guys im freaking out… I Just realized that I didnt capatilize some of the course names when I updated my grades… For example I put AP physics instead of AP Physics… I did get all As though… I hope they dont notice say and reject me

I’m in the same boat tho, I’m terrible at math! I’m actually excited for the AP Lit test (english is my forte!).
@effyeahjen But AP’s are almost over. I should’ve met you sooner so you could’ve tutored me. But it’s okay. We can form a study group at UCLA and be roommates and fangirl over Harry Potter together.
@sushicult NO I AM NOT!!! I have AP Calc BC, AP Chem, AP Lit, and AP Macroeeconomics and I’m about to slowly die. And all my teachers are crazy so instead of relaxing after the exams, we’re going to ave projects and assignments

@sushicult I wish i was better at Lit!! And of course I just had to sign up for IB English HL so I’ll be writing a coupla essays instead of taking the AP ughhh

We’re doing projects after AP exams too! For me it’s still better than pre-AP exam season. I just finished taking 8 Calculus BC tests within these past two weeks… I’m dead-do!

I really dislike economics. I think Chem is super interesting. AP calc is killing me (it has been all year long). I like AP Lit because of the fantastic books and poetry we read (Mrs. Dalloway, The Awakening, and The Stranger are my favorites) but I hate writing essays!
@imvegetarian2016 @sushicult could we BE any more similar?!? Avatar was the bomb.com, my favorite episodes were the ones where the producers added little fun fact blurbs on screen and then they would show them in days-long marathons!
And ya know what? If we hadn’t all been waitlisted, we wouldn’t have met!! Now, we just need to get in to meet in person ;D
I actually like Econ probably because my teacher is hilarious, I am absolutely killing Physics C and Calc (like what? lol) and Lit is kicking my little butt rn hahaha

I drew my profile picture actually! It was originally one of 12 illustrations for a horoscope article. I’m my school newsletter’s graphic designer and illustrator, but lemme tell you it takes forever to draw and I feel like a sleep-deprived artist 24/7 (JK, I enjoy it though! But deadlines are probably why I won’t pursue an artistic career!)
AP Literature is my “bae” class, I love it so much! Have you guys read The Color Purple? Personally, my favorite will always be the classic Great Gatsby though LOL
