Yeah, sounds like it. However, I was told that–should we end up going to ucla instead–we can cancel the housing stuff and be refunded in full up through the 31st. After that, there’ll be a monetary penalty for canceling.

I wish they’d make June 1st more of a hard deadline, but yeah I was told something somewhat similar that we should hear back by mid June at the latest.
Not sure. But I think they’re still figuring things out.

i’m going to have my orientation for ucsd around mid june and then if i get an acceptance to ucla… that’s just such a big change
My orientation for ucd is on July 7-8. But I’m already in love with the school and i’ve made some awesome friends. I’ve figured out the classes and professors for first quarter.
Why can’t they just tell us by June 1 like all the other UCs.

did u use an online professors rating site to choose the best professors?
Does it seem that they won’t be admitting anyone off the WL to letters and sciences? Maybe their yield was much higher than expected? I know Santa Cruz admitted no one from the WL last year. Even Berkeley has admitted people off the WL.
@catswin I actually asked some of the the students who already go there or who have taken the class which I’m going to take. Also I double checked on ratemyprofessor.
And for classes i’m just going to do prereqs now
So i chose 3 prereq plus maybe i’ll need to add an English course or something.
No one’s heard anything who isn’t an engineering major? These days are starting to feel like years man
HONESTLY WHAT THE FRICKEN CRAP UCLA. JUST GIVE IT TO US STRAIGHT DONT BE LIKE UCI AND UCSD AND WAIT UNTIL LIKE THE LAST MINUTE TO MASSACRE EVERYONE. PLEASE AT LEAST GIVE US A SIGN OR SOME HOPE IM DYING HERE.

UCLA Admissions Officers have been pretty vague recently. Last lady and gent I spoke too both were like, “Sorry, we don’t have that information on file” (I asked about release dates), but all they could confirm was that it would be before June 1st. Well I suppose we already almost made it through half of May…
@mikuru Hopefully that means there’s going to be a big wave coming up soon that they’re trying to keep on the down low
