i just got off the waitlist 2days ago and the email says that i have until 5/2 11"59pm to send SIR, but didn’t say anything about housing…
I just decided to go and im worried about housing because the deadline for housing i found on other places is either 5/1 or 4/29…</p>

Northern CA, undeclared sociology, 2140 SAT, 4.36 GPA, lots of EC.
Wrote about why UCLA is the perfect school for him and his lead role in a play in fall semester.</p>
<p>DS got in today, CA, L&S (pre-math/econ), although when he applied UCLA was his first choice (brother is there now, aunt, Grandma, Grandpa, cousins, etc… all are Bruins) but ultimately decided to decline (got Regents at UC Berkeley). Good Luck to everyone else!</p>

<p>I applied to the college of engineering and I’m still waiting on mine! In-state here with pretty solid stats, still hopeful!</p>
<p>I know this is my first post but I promise I’m not trolling! Got in off the waitlist yesterday. 6 AP’s senior year, 4.34 weighted GPA, 2260 SAT score, in-state and Pre-Business Econ. For the essay part I put my first semester grades, current 6-week second semester grades, and I also wrote a lot about my job as the Area Director for Interact 5170 (managing 7 schools, executing a retreat, etc.) </p>
<p>Looks like lots of people are getting off the waitlist so just be patient! I have no doubt you’ll get in.</p>
<p>Congrats to everyone getting off the waitlist. Stay positive if you haven’t heard back, I think things will work out the way they are supposed to, even if you don’t get accepted.</p>
<p>It’s great to see that the College of L&S has been accepting several people from the waitlist, however, I have yet to hear anyone from the College of Engineering getting accepted - my son included.<br>

<p>It’s encouraging to hear all this! I’m still on the waitlist as a CA resident for L&S. (2240 SAT, 4.22 GPA, wrote about multiple service experiences since November and playing a lead in our musical…) Do you think I still have a shot?</p>
<p>Dartwell I think you have a great chance! DS (L&S pre math/econ) and another kid (L&S Biology) at school both got off the WL on Friday. They give you I think 3 days to reply. DS declined and last I heard his friend was still trying to decide. I bet more will hear on Monday. How were your 1st semester grades?</p>

Stats cant seem to compare to you guys but i got a 4.4 GPA 2000 SAT and applied for L&S (business-econ).</p>
