I was thinking about calling them and asking if they still have openings for psych major. Not sure if they would provide this info though
have any engineering majors heard back yet?? I’m an Electrical Engineering major, but I haven’t been updated yet. Any1 else in a similar situation with EE or other engineering?
@Falasteen12 Aerospace Engineering major here, still haven’t heard back 
I did call them and they said they can’t tell me any waitlist statistics but they told me that even if we do get accepted after the priority housing deadline, we still have 2 weeks after to fill out a priority housing application, so there are no disadvantages to being accepted on the waitlist.
@ItsAPotato thanks for the update!! I called admissions too and she told me our wait can go all the way up to mid july. There’s a chance we’ll be doing another month of waiting and just checking our application portals everyday lol but good luck to you!! hopefully we both get an opportunity to attend
Mid of July? ??? @Falasteen12 I need to pay tuition at Cal State by July 1st, so I planned on waiting until last min, just in case I get accepted to Ucla. Hmmmm
@Rugiada yup, I was as shocked as you. She did say there was only a chance of this but idk, mid-july is really late

Will I be rescinded if I get a C in a major prereq course this spring? Actually this course was listed on assist.org as one of several additional courses that I could take. Had to take two from that section.
Any Engineering major wait list heard back from UCLA? It takes forever and I’m losing my patience
@Leo622 I am also waitlisted as Aerospace Engineering. I just submitted my housing and orientation fees for UCSD. Getting tired of waiting 
I have not heard back yet. I am on the wait list for mechanical engineering. I am just happy I am not rejected yet so I do not mind the wait. I already SIRed to UC Riverside and I am making all plans for UCR. If UCLA calls then I will adjust and adapt accordingly. I personally do not think I will hear back until mid July.
It seems like a lot of us engineers are still waiting
@AndyCandy As long as it wasn’t a D or F you should be fine. I withdrew from a class and just got a reply back today. No status change! The only other thing that could happen is they’ll make you take a summer class.

@AndyCandy bro, I got accepted off the waitlist on Saturday, reported the W on Sunday, and got a reply this morning on a Thursday. I feel like they are more concerned about the completion of the IGETC. If the C that you got fulfills the requirement, you should be fine. The admissions lady told me that when your application goes under review again, they will check if you are still a “competitive” applicant. Not sure what that meant, but knowing that you have been admitted off the waitlist, you ARE competitive enough.

@AndyCandy Can I ask what your GPA is? I’m on the waitlist right now and I still haven’t gotten a reply for mathematics major. I’m just wondering if I even still have a chance. I already SIR-ed to UCSD, but I’m still really hoping for LA. I’ve love to hear your input.
