Not trying to be a pessimist but it seems that engineering majors tend to not get selected for waitlist so I never thought I actually had a chance in the first place

Right? Same expectations too. We will all do great wherever we go. I am planning to pursue my M.S.at UCSB or UCD for Mechanical Engineering.

Don’t feed bad @Rugiada. We all know how painful a college rejection can be. I just know it is not the end of me. Do great at your other school and show UCLA that they made the wrong choice not to admit you. Maybe even for graduate school, you might be considered by LA. I am planning on pushing myself to work harder at UCSD so I can attend Cornell, MIT, Stanford, Harvard, Yale or maybe Caltech for graduate studies. Good luck! I am planning on UCs as well but I doubt I will apply to UCLA again haha.

Also got rejected lol. At this point I’m just sad, but also feel like life is giving me an interesting spin, I’m definitely not a NorCal gal but I’ll be continuing my studies at UC Berkeley. Good luck everyone!
