So I was one of the unfortunate ones who wanted to attend a welcome day but found out all the slots were full. Would anyone, who attended Welcome Day, care to summarize what happened and what important information you could share that you learned? Thanks!

you get an overview of UCLA from the dean

then split up depending on if u want to be south campus or north campus and learn a bit more about classes and activities and such

then u got into small gropus with a curfrent student and got to ask him/her questions relentlessly about anything

then lunch... then either campus tour or financial aid meeting.. then housing introduction, questions answered, and tour of housing.

it had lots of good ifnormation but its nothing you cant get on your own by visiting campus, talking to current students.
