UCLA -What is your Fall Schedule?

Anyone Enrolled in the same classes as me and want to form study groups and maybe pre-study a week or two before class to be prepared.

These are my courses

Econ 11 Lec 2
Math 33a lec 1
math 33b lec 2.

EE 2
EE M16
EE 10
Engr 183

ur taking linear and differential in the same quarter? wow

As of now
Sociology 101- Jepson
Sociology 20 - Sweeney
Microbiology at WLAC

Math 170A (probability) (upper division)
Math 131A honors (analysis) (upper division)
Math 33A (linear algebra) (lower division)

Planned courses--I can't register right now but those classes are almost full :( .

linear and differential are easy citan :)

Hey kevin, are you a math major? Did they give you a list of the classes you have to take?

there is a list online in the math department depending on which math major you are..... i am a math major and the advisor reviewed my planned courses with me and stuff.

Kevin , why in the world would u take 131AH??? that is one of the hardest classes anyways and you want to make it honors in your first quarter? good luck.

Highschoolda, are you allowed to go to WLAC while enrolled in UCLA, dont they specifically tell you that your not allowed to do that?

Yeah I know malishka. I was asking why he took those specific classes and I was also wondering if he looked at his DPR because I think it says the classes that you have to take.

If i fail linear and Diff i am going to have to change my major . .... and the only other major i want is Econ..... and it will suck if they dont let me change.

based on what my OC told me, no calculators in lower div courses ... and i am totally calculator dependant.

HOw much of calc 2 do we need for Linear and Diffrential, i have A's in Calc 1 and 3 but a C in 2.

Malishka why do you have to take calc again?

They shouldnt have let you use calculators at you CC. At least at mine they didnt let us use them because they wanted us to get use to not relying on calculators. It should be too hard though.

I dont think you really need much of any calc for linear or differentials. Just the basics of calc are needed because linear is mostly proofs and diff is a lot of system eq.

I can take classes at CC as long as I don't expect to get any kind of credit at ucla for them. which i don't.

u won't really need calculator for lin. or diff.

Technics: not everyone is a genius like you :)

my orientation isn't till August 21st. ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!

I'm in session 202(this thursday), but my DPR is not done yet. I don't even know how to choose suitable classes at all. :(

oh man, serious? You don't wanna scare me like that :( fall 2006 will be my first quarter; i'm already concerned about the difficulties of the courses. Anyone shed some light on what I should be taking as a math major (transfer as a junior) for the first quarter in UCLA? :)

Yes, i'm a a math/applied science major and I found out the list of classes I have to take from www.math.ucla.edu so I think I will be just following it. It seems harder than I think.
