Ucla

Hello,

Due to a personal family matter, I will be forced to withdraw from Berkeley. It is my first semester, and if I withdraw I will have no grades at Berkeley, only a record of financial aid. Due to this family matter I will be forced to stay close to home, but I would like to continue my education. I know it is difficult to transfer from UC to UC, however since I will not have an academic record of attending Berkeley, i.e. no grades, and only a financial record. Can I apply to UCLA as an incoming junior and not mention on the application that I attended Berkeley, that is only state that I went to a community college?

You would only mention Berkeley if you took classes there and were graded for them.

So the fact that I will have a financial aid record, won’t hurt my chances, and I can still apply as only a community college student?

Thanks a ton!

It won’t count because you don’t have any course work done there.
