UCLA's campus is beautiful

Is it just me, or is UCLA's campus absolutely beautiful. I remember visiting freshmen year and being blown away. The campus just really stood out to me and i really liked the brick architecture and overall look. I've visited the other UC campuses, such as Berkeley and UCSD, but UCLA really stand out. I don't know.. something about it is captivating.. thoughts?? or am i just weird? lol

I always thought I was going to go to UCSD but when I visited the campus, it looked like a sprawling summer camp to me.
At Cal, I never liked the mishmash of architecture, the cracked and uneven paving. And the Architecture building where I was to study looked… well, lets just say all the other buildings looked better than Architecture’s.

But when I visited UCLA I just fell in love with the well groomed landscaping, the giant trees, and the beautiful architecture. It was like a hidden gem among the hills. There’s a reason why the campus is always used to film movies, commercials and tv shows.

I completely agree! Everyone associates UCLA with prestige and its academics, but its beautiful campus is rarely mentioned and in my opinion, equally as noteworthy as its academic reputation. UCLA’s architect deserves serious props. The campus is grand and I’m surprised it hasn’t won awards for most beautiful college campus.

My rule of thumb is that the best colleges have the most well trimmed grass. UCLA’sgrass is always well-kept.
