did u guys get the ID? When is ur registration window gonna open?
do u use the ucnet email they give u?

I just got my ID. my registration window is open august 15. I have a question: does this mean that we can only register for classes on that date or does it mean that we can register for classes starting that date?

I'm using my own gmail account because it's more convenient for me, but I'll probably gonna use both.

You guys can join thefacebook now! www.thefacebook.com may as well it get hooked early...

My window opens Aug. 16. xranger, it means you can register for classes starting on that date (not just that day).

I registerd on thefacebook, but I didn't get the confirmation email yet.

I just got the email, so yeah. I'm on there as Andrew Cleveland.

Speaking of email, Eudora ( http://www.eudora.com/ ) is a good email program, and UCI gives out Eudora registrations (to get rid of the ads in the free version) to students (we do qualify as students, right?) at http://licenses.nacs.uci.edu/. I assume it's okay to use it.. it asks for your ucinetid login.

You MUST use your UCI email account for all school-related emails. Faculty and staff will not send emails to personal acccounts (gmail, hotmail, yahoo, aol, etc.). I recommend separating school emails from personal. When I was in school, I used my UCI account for both, and it ended up getting a ton of spam.
