Wondering how difficult it is to get into the honors program at Uconn!

Quite—average SAT is a 1450+.

Although you can apply later in your academic career.

Yeah for sure. I’m happy with my result! I got a 1560, so I was hoping for Honors consideration (applied by 12/1 as well) but c’est la vie!

  1. You can appeal.

  2. Or like I said, apply after a semester or two.

Congrats to everyone with good news!!

My son was admitted to Hartford, not Storrs as was his first choice. This isn’t his first choice of school so he will keep it as a backup for now as we are in-state and it is a good financial option. Waiting on a few more decisions to come out this month.

My daughter applied to the nursing program but was accepted into the exploratory major. Does this mean she was not accepted into the nursing program?

Same with my daughter Re ACES exploratory

My son was accepted to 2nd choice campus (Hartford). He’s been accepted to other schools with the full residential experience he wants, so UConn is probably off the list.

hi everyone! does anyone have information about the presidential scholarship? my counselor submitted my name as i am second in my class and expected to find out that i got it in my status update (but did not). i also didn’t find out about honors which i was surprised about. anyone have info about this? thank you, and congrats to everyone else that got it
