Will not be an option due to the cost. He only got 12K per year if I am reading it correctly. We don’t qualify for needs based aid so this school is 25K over our FAFSA EFC. We put this on the list because they are known for having a good disability dept for learning differences. (Dyslexia and Dysgraphia)

Anyone know how requesting to double major works??

Congratulations on your acceptance and the scholarship. Wondering, did you apply for the scholarship?

First-year applicants are automatically considered for most merit scholarships administered by the University of Connecticut. See this link - Merit Scholarships | Cost & Aid | Undergraduate Admissions : Undergraduate Admissions

my son has dysgraphia, and UConn CSD is the best. He gets a notetaker and extra time for written assignments. CSD even helped him secure an internship over the summer.

They are much more likely to give scholarships to OOS students, but it’s still not easy to earn one. Congrats to all!

@schoolstruggles - Sure, makes sense since colleges want to bring the oos university cost down for students and make it attractive for them to leave their in-state college

OOS accepted to Storrs for Biology with UConn Award of $18,500. My daughter has a uw 4.0 and w 4.95/5.0 gpa, with tons of leadership and great ec’s, research experience, and great essay, yet it seems she was not admitted to honors. I’m very surprised. Maybe they are holding the fact she went test optional against her? Looks like UConn won’t be able to compete with our in-state colleges.

Note: If reslife shows an application for a specific campus before the notices are out, then it is correct (ie, you’ve been accepted at that campus, not Storrs).

To add onto this: if you can’t access reslife before notices go it, it means nothing. My son couldn’t access it but still got accepted to Storrs and with a merit award.

When can we sign up for housing?

Yes.

At most, it means you were accepted to the Stamford campus (there might have been a slight discrepancy between the IT systems of Stamford and Storrs).

On another note, the red lines appearing just mean that decisions are coming out soon. They have nothing to do with acceptance/rejection status, as they’re just another aesthetic design.

My daughter applied for undecided business, but acceptance letter states she’s been admitted to Academic Center for Exploratory Students (ACES). Does that mean she didn’t get accepted for school of business?
