Hopefully tomorrow…Environmental Engineering, ACT:31, GPA:3.6 Decent EC’s
Status: Still nothing

No news for us yet. Co-worker’s son received an acceptance letter on Saturday (in-state, ACES, Storrs), but his twin brother (Engineering) is still waiting to hear on his status.

no news here starting to get real worried no status change no call nothing ( so I’m guessing that its not a good sign anybody have any other ideas ???

I have had no status change yet but I did receive a call from a current business student telling me my application was complete, a decision had been made and I would be hearing very shortly. She also asked if I had any questions. I have no idea if this is a good thing or not…??

@uni2018 i would def take that as a positive no need to call you if you were not accepted i just don’t get the system though ? and you don’t have an option to pay ?

No option to pay, no change in status…makes me wonder if I’m wait-listed possibly…but why the call?

where is the dropdown box to see if there is an option to pay deposit?

At the top of the application status page @mss418

My daughters portal just changed. Accepted! No mention of any merit $ on the financial aid page.

Did it just change today ?

@momtosimba did she apply into a special program?

OOS and she will be a linguistics/psychology major.

Still nothing

Feel our pain@colin 2014

*your pain *

I have the option to pay admissions deposit and view all financial aid information, but I’m still waiting. Still don’t know if I got in.

I had checked her portal earlier today and no change, I checked again at 1:15 and she was accepted. It was about 5 days from when she could pay a deposit and given an e mail account.

@momtosimba where does it say she was accepted?

Accepted to Storrs today!

Keep your hopes up. I got in with a 3.6 GPA, 1760 SAT and no EC’s. Amazing essay and good recs though, and I had some circumstances that lowered my grades the past few years. I was surprised I got into the main campus with my stats.

Also: there’s a link to see your admissions decision under your admissions status.

I clicked on application status and it stated a decision was made and asked if I wanted to see it. Obviously i clicked on the yes button.
