UConn Admissions Decisions

sadly I am resigning myself to that I feel so badly for my D I cannot even speak to her about it this whole thing was done so wrong I feel for all you kids who are still waiting this is just sad it should not be like this with no communication from the school this is wrong wrong wrong

I am not giving up hope yet, I hope your D gets in too Miesha5.

No news is…no news. I spoke to Admissions yesterday and they are still finishing up with acceptances and hope to have all done soon (not soon enough) and I was told that no news has no bearing on the decision. I said I would call again end of week if we still didn’t hear. Application was in for Nov. 1 deadline!

so im pretty sure i got removed from their honors program. got my acceptance online the beginning of last week. i didnt check my email until today and one of my emails is from uconn. it simply says that my portal has changed, dated march 7th.

Does anyone know of any instate commuter students having received any acceptances/rejections? I know from a money making standpoint a commuter student doesn’t bring in the dollars like a student staying on campus would. We live close to UCONN.

Portal still hasn’t changed No acceptance yet from allied health.

Portal JUST changed to: Information is pending, please check back in 24 hours.
Finally, something!

same
i have a feeling its wait list though don’t know why just a feeling

still no change in portal yet just checked…hopefully soon!

my status just changed that my application is now complete and is being mailed to me. there is no option to pay deposit online…did anyone get in that also had this with no deposit option?

my D check back in 24 hours and the rest is blank

This application is Complete.

Admission decisions will be sent by mail over the next few weeks. If you have received an acceptance notification by mail, congratulations! We welcome you to secure your place by making your enrollment deposit above. If you have not yet received a decision by mail, we ask for your patience as we work towards finalizing all of our applications. The formal decision notification date is March 1.

Does this mean rejection?

no option to pay as well

it says all that ? @erijohn my D just says pending check back in 24 hrs then blank this is so confusing

@erijohn thats what mine says too

I did not receive an option to pay deposit when I got that notification back in February. I ended up getting into Storrs.

When daughter #1 got into Storrs she did not initially have an option to pay but she did get “if you received a letter congratulations” bit. I say those that see this message today are accepted…as far as the long wait for daughter#2…we now have: Information is pending, please check back in 24 hours.

When classmate received Information is pending, please check back in 24 hours status, it was posted late in day and the next morning she had the acceptance. I do not think this message means waitlisted.

I hope your right

When I got my acceptance as a transfer, it had the: Information is pending, please check back in 24 hours status. I found it late at night around midnight then when i woke up in the morning i checked and it said I was accepted. Anyone who has that message your decision will be up tomorrow
