UConn Admissions Stats

<p>According to today's NY Times</p>

<p>2011: Applied: 27,149 Admitted: 10,865 40.02% </p>

<p>2010: Applied: 22,028 Admitted: 10,874 49.36% </p>

<p>UConn becoming much more selective it seems.</p>

<p>Nice find. Although, didn’t UCONN switch to the common app this year? That would explain the large increase in apps and the greater selectivity.</p>

<p>I wonder if those admits were just Storrs or if they include the branches also. Some of my d’s friends did not get into Storrs, but were admitted to our nearby branch.</p>
