UConn Branch or another University?

Hi! So I got accepted into Uconn, but not accepted-accepted. I got sent to the Waterbury branch; not Storrs. I also got into UHart and SCSU.

I guess I don’t exactly know what I want to do with my life. I think that I want to major in English an and pursue a career in publishing, or maybe even go to law school. Would it be smarter to go the Uconn branch school, then transfer to Uconn? I know it would save a lot of money and such.

I’m quite introverted and shy, but I kind of wanted some sort of college experience. Would I be missing out on a lot? Also what’s the rep of going to a UConn branch? Any pros and cons? Also, anyone here that’s going to a Uconn branch??

Hi.
I was in a similar situation last year. I decided to go to another university and than transfer into Uconn Storrs. I had a 3.6 my first semester at my current school and was accepted into Uconn Storrs for next semester. I decided to go this route as I didn’t want to be branched for two years.
