I took 4 AP courses (Calculus, Physics, US History, Physcology) and Uconn macro and microeconomics, which gave me 6 Uconn credits

My GPA is 3.85

I am a honors student

I volunteered 160 hours at Griffin Hospital

I played for the Boy's Tennis Team for 2 years

I want the honest truth and what are my shots, and if anyone can point me to a combined medical program schools that I have a chance in.

what state are you from? and if you're from ct, which school? if you're from, say, central, you're in. period. i don't think you are, though, or you wouldn't have taken psych already...

@jaydee: Well BS/MD is one of the hardest programs to get into and only the brightest individuals and when i mean bright i mean 2300, 4.0 amazing ecs. I don't know for sure about UConn but for UCSD the minimum reqs to get an invitation to apply is 2250+ and >4.0. You should probably try to go to a good undergrad and apply for an MD spot. Again idk about Uconn I only know about the others like Northwestern, USC, UCSD, etc. Hope that helps.

im kind of in your same situation. UConn doesn't mind students with lower scores, but in exceptional areas to apply. Some BS/MD programs are strict on scores like UMDNJ where they make no exceptions. Bring that SAT score up to 2100 or over, but never lose faith. People are gay and try to diminish your chances. I applied to governor's school and you would never believe i got in, but with essays and extracurriculars, i did. But get more medically related ec's and better test scores.

Thanks a lot guys, I am from fairfield county, and I am Indian (from India), and a citizen here. I am also taking anatomy and chemistry. I need a clear statement on what my shots are, and thanks for the informations. I am a smart student, but not when it comes to the SAT.
