My son got in!!! Yay

accepted into Storrs for biological sciences!!! i have a question, i checked the phonebook and my name is not up there, is anyone else’s name not listed who got accepted? I’m probably being paranoid but just wanted to check

If you are accepted to a regional campus can you get waitlisted for Storrs?

Accepted to storrs for physiology & neurobiology!

Accepted to Storrs!

@mlb363 I think honors info might come with the postal mail acceptance, but I got in for actuarial science too hahaha

I can’t wait to get the actually letter so I can post it on my social media hahaha… Now it’s time for me to wait for my U of California decisions.

@Fiona1997 my D applied to UC schools too. I know they are notoriously late in notifying applicants. Have you applied anywhere else? What major?

Applied to Biological Sciences for Storrs. Got waitlisted but agreed to stay on it.

Daughter accepted to Storrs for Animal Sciences.

@negirl508 I actually applied to 18 schools. Mostly small Liberal Arts schools in New England like Holy Cross, Smith, Mount Holyoke, etc. Already got into Bard. Also applied to some bigger schools like BC, U of Richmond, W&M, Notre Dame… and 4 UC schools - UCLA UC, Davis, UCSB, UCI.
Majoring in Public Policy/International Relations/Pre-Law

My son received the Congratulations however, it was for ACES, not Engineering. Very disappointing, 740 on Math SAT as well as 660 English coupled with all honors (4 years) and AP classes this year. Yes he has a B+ average however very competitive school in Massachusetts. Many EC’s including FIRST Robotics. My husband is an alum, we are really sad. First school out of 10 to get notification on… Congrats to all that got in. I guess UCONN is out.

Does anyone have an unchanged status? Still shows application completed date with no decision?

@jakeybake congratulations.

My daughter was accepted to Ohio as well. She was awarded the Buckeye Scholarship so it would cost me about the same as my instate tuition for UConn.

Have you seen Ohio yet? We’re taking that long drive next week.

I’m torn

Thank you

Yeah @uconnbleedblue my status hasn’t changed either. I applied for Accounting yet status has remained unchanged.

Good to know, thanks. My son applied to biomedical engineering and I see a few people on here received decisions for the same major. Good luck!!
