UCONN class of 2022

Mine said completed yesterday morning

@lynn26 whats her major???

Sorry it doesn’t say a decision was made just completed

Engineering undeclared

I am a senior finance student at UConn in the Honors Program and applied to the school in late 2013 (graduated high school in 2014). I first noticed a change on my account when under financial aid it said “New Admit Scholarship Acceptance”, and found out probably around one week later via mail that I was accepted. An email came about a week after the letter in the mail. Although it was awhile ago, I think that mine also changed to include the “View Financial Aid” link as well that many other people are mentionining above, but didn’t have details as to amount/aid type. I got my acceptance letter on February 16th of 2014 I believe.

I applied to the business school and declared finance on my application out of high school and got in with the following stats. I got into the Honors Program and am on a half-tuition scholarship:

-4.21 GPA weighted
-2180 SAT (1450 M/R; I know this scoring system is now outdated)
-In-state, public high school
-No legacy

Hope this helps a few of you and good luck to all!

@sjh1996: Hi, I applied Business undecided.
WGPA 3.76; SAT 1510
Chance me please. I’m afraid my GPA is not high enough…

@JJay your Sat is high , have you gotten the scholarship link?

@Lynn26: No I did not.
My SAT should compensate for my GPA, which should be higher. Admissions could think I didn’t challenge myself. All my classes were Advanced College Prep. My high school offers MANY Honors and AP but I didn’t take any.
my school is ULTRA competitive and you have to be recommended to take Honors, I was never recommended. I’m very smart but I don’t enjoy doing 3 hours of homework each night…

I understand, but I think you will be accepted

Can go either way. If I chose general school for major it would have been much easier.

Earlier in the thread someone mentioned that they thought that decisions might come out after 5 pm. I was wondering why people thought that time made sense? Last year it was Friday night, and the year before the portals were open by approx 1:30 pm. in the afternoon. Have decisions ever been released after 5 on a Sat?

I’m in a similar situation, applied for business OOS with a 1540SAT/33ACT with a 3.35UW/3.7W, took some honors and a few AP my senior year. Are my chances lower because im OOS?

does anyone know if all decisions are released at the same time?

Jjay and Ccmem you two are locks for acceptance into Uconn with those SAT scores. Worst case is you get in but not into business right away but you are definitely getting accepted.

ugh I just want to know when UCONN will post their decisions. the wait is killing me

@ccmem3000 it actually makes your chances higher from what I’ve heard

@Vipper: thanks for the encouragement! fingers crossed!!

I was deferred UMass Isenberg! :frowning:
Accepted Penn State Business and Indiana Business as Direct Kelly admit - both too far…
Waiting on UConn and Bentley.

@sjh1996 What does it look like when the portal changes to reflect acceptance? It seems like we’re all waiting on portal changes, even though it also sounds like portal changes can happen days and weeks after confirmation in the mail. I guess another way of asking it is: why do we think we will see an acceptance in the portal today?

Chance me please
