UCONN class of 2022

So I got into Avery point, and definitely WON’T be attending. also, something to be aware of: most of the satellite campuses don’t have dorms! I didn’t know this until I looked up housing for Avery Point and I was told I’d have to commute (over an hour each way) or rent an apartment by myself in order to actually go there. But congrats to all those who were accepted!

What was your gpa and SAT

@sen18r did it specifically say u got waitlisted or did they put u in a regionals campus?

@VanilllaIce I wouldn’t consider myself extremely over qualified, but I definitely did not expect to get rejected. @Jmr161 61 I have 3.6 uw 3.85 w with a 32 on the ACT. Strong extracurriculars including 4 years of football and a leadership role on yearbook. I would also consider my essay the strong suit of my app.

ALSO does anyone know if Uconn ece classes count as credits that can be included in regional campuses? Their requirement states that you have to have 54 credits at regional campus to get into Storrs so would ece credits at high school count?

Accepted to School of Business.
OOS from NY
32 ACT, 3.9 GPA
Will need a large merit scholarship from UCONN to lower cost closer to SUNY cost.

I got accepted into the school of business but for the stamford campus. Is it allowed to transfer out to stores after one semester? Or to appeal to the board and get accepted into stores campus?

stores was my top choice

My son got accepted.
In State
Business/Finance - Storrs.
SAT 1440, GPA 3.75

Three Varsity sports for 4 years. Caption of two sports
Three Honor Society
couple of clubs
Strong Essay
Three Recommendation Letters!!

Congratulation to Everyone who got accepted!! Now got to wait another month or so to hear from other colleges…

OOS accepted to Storrs!
SAT: 1500
GPA: 3.6 uw
State: CA

How can you tell if you were waitlisted for stores? or not? If you were branched to stamford does that mean that you are waitlisted for stores? If you can let me know, that would be amazing! Thank you so much!

@sen18r how can you tell if you were waitlisted? I am super confused about that idea

Congratulations to everyone receiving acceptances, and to those who are not don’t worry: you are on the right road to where you need to be!
