@skimomof3 Thanks for the great advice…We’re about 3.5 hours away so I’m happy to save any time I can. Geting off wont be an issue…we are going to hang around, enjoy the weather and explore as we made a rez at Nathan Hale for Saturday. My D is so excited to start UCONN!! Thanks again
Folks - if you are approaching the ‘back’ of campus from 44 & 32, you should ignore GPS directions if it tells you to cut over to N Eagleville road via Ravine road which is an “unimproved”’(dirt) road. Go just a bit further on 32 and get off at North Eagleville road. You can wave to my son in Northwood Apts as you drive by.
Also the Gampel part includes a lot of spirit and gives an interesting perspective with so many students in one spot at once. Don’t miss it. My advice is to get up and arrive early.
@BoroDad Thanks for your tips. Passed Ravine Road and kept going!
A great day and weather too. Many families and the university did a great job showcasing all it has to offer. A couple more schools to visit before final decision but I enjoyed the visit.
I just got off the waitlist at the Storrs campus!
Has any other waitlisted student heard back from UConn?
@patfan12 Did you receive financial aid? I’m also on the wait list but worried if I’ll receive any money if accepted.
I was accepted into Uconn business program this year with a 3.6 gpa and a 1210 SAT score. Tons of extracurricular and community service. President of business club at school. 2 honor societies. I am attending good luck to seniors next year the college process has gotten so unpredictable.
