This is a thread for the Day of Pride Scholarship uconn applicants. Does anyone know how many they accept per year? How many usually apply? Do you have to have stellar stats to get in?
You must be an outstanding Connecticut high school senior and proven academic ability along with test scores etc., and from a disadvantaged background, 15 scholarships awarded at 20,000.00
So i have a 3.9 and a 1340 but immigrated at the age of 9 fron egypt, fleeing religious persecution. Do i have a chance?
If you meet the criteria for the scholarship your chance is as good as anyone else. It is like any other scholarship you apply for it and hope that you get it. Just make sure that your application is complete and you answered all the required questions. Good Luck!
