Does anyone know how deep the usual mattress is in one of the freshman UConn dorms? I know they are twin xl and know the size (width x length) but was wondering how deep they are so I can purchase a mattress topper and then a mattress cover.
@debbie2th I have no idea what the depth of the mattress is at UCONN but my son is a freshman at another school right now. I think the depth of most twin XL mattress are the same. He has a 4" topper in addition to his mattress at school. I had purchased the deep pocketed sheets and it has been no problem at all. Hope this help! Good luck to you!
The mattresses are about 3-4" deep - like a camp mattress. My D has a 3" topper and bought the standard size XL sheets in Bed Bath and Beyond.
