UCONN Engineering

Hi Guys, I'm a student who will be transferring over to UCONN to try and join the engineering program. I realistically expect to be admitted into the ACES program rather than Engineering right off the bat but I'm trying to prepare for my first year. I'm a transfer student from SCSU and have recently decided that I have an interest in Environmental Engineering. I took AP Physics and Calculus my senior year of high school and scored in the B range, but that was about 3 years ago now. I'm taking precalc now to prepare and plan to take Calculus again over the summer. What can I do to prepare for Engineering? What tips do you have to succeed in this major and what have you done to do well?

Responses from current Engineering students or those who have recently graduated would be preferred.
