UConn housing questions

<p>I'm considering transferring to UConn. I have 2 questions I was hoping someone could answer about housing.</p>

<ol>
<li><p>I'd really like a single dorm. Do I have a good chance of getting one if I submit my housing deposit on time?</p></li>
<li><p>Is it true UConn only provides housing for transfers for 2 semesters? I've heard conflicting answers. It will take me another 4 to 5 semesters to finish my degree, so this would be a problem.</p></li>

<p>This year all transfer students will be put on the waiting list for housing. Reslife has said that they don’t expect to take anyone off the waiting list for the upcoming year.</p>
